ahh yeah i getcha. i agree, but i think we just have to trust each other that we are reading each other's posts :) id rather convince myself that my friends see my posts and then talk about it irl than eagerly await a notification that someone saw my post.. (the less notifications the better imo) i don't mean to strike down ur suggestion btw i think you have good intentions, i agree with you this site is not meant to be engagement-driven so imo it shouldn't have engagement patterns like likes. idk i think for me this is a social media to get off social media, so if i check it less that's kind of a win because ultimately i want to use my phone as little as possible haha. right now i check my phone, read a couple posts on here and then stop using my phone, it's perfect 🥹🥹

this is so real. i feel like when cleaning up that's when my adhd really kicks in and instead of 10 minutes of minor cleaning up i end up overscoping it and get overwhelmed because i cant vacuum before i dust before i clean up before i do the dishes before i... (hell)

besides any sort of metric is essentially meaningless bc this is an us only thing and not public, we’re not trying to push for engagement
