(the less notifications the better imo) i don't mean to strike down ur suggestion btw i think you have good intentions, i agree with you this site is not meant to be engagement-driven so imo it shouldn't have engagement patterns like likes. idk i think for me this is a social media to get off social media, so if i check it less that's kind of a win because ultimately i want to use my phone as little as possible haha. right now i check my phone, read a couple posts on here and then stop using my phone, it's perfect 🥹🥹

this is so real. i feel like when cleaning up that's when my adhd really kicks in and instead of 10 minutes of minor cleaning up i end up overscoping it and get overwhelmed because i cant vacuum before i dust before i clean up before i do the dishes before i... (hell)

it doesn’t even have to display a like count is what i’m saying
besides any sort of metric is essentially meaningless bc this is an us only thing and not public, we’re not trying to push for engagement
i feel weird sometimes posting about something completely different and unrelated without acknowledging a post that came before me bc it feels like i’m just ignoring what was posted beforehand. and sometimes i don’t have any specific comment to make, but i want to show my appreciation of the post regardless
