i think the lack of contrast and illegibility makes it a lacking design. some recs —

try gaussian blurring the background for the top one
make the eye graphic smaller (it’s really good and nice) so that it doesn’t get covered with the text, making it hard to read.
making the black softer would be better
the entire graphic and text are both dark. try making the text a lighter shade of red, or making the black softer
